As I look at the models this morning, I am shaking my head and wondering when we'll play next. We had some hefty storms last night, we'll get more today, and then an area of low pressure will track across the area on Friday.
I want to play and I'm tired of being the bearer of 'Bad News', but I just don't think our fields will be in any kind of playing shape by Saturday morning, given what I'm looking at for the rest of the work week. As I said yesterday, we need some tarps to cover the fields.
P.S. The long range guidance has us with nice weather for the weekend and then more rain for the middle and latter half of next week, and we got this season off on such a good note....

Thursday Update:
Flood Watch Until 5 PM Friday with perhaps another 2 inches coming down. Heaviest will be overnight into Friday morning. If we were betting against playing, I'd be "all in".
